NAFI Submits Comments on FAA NPRM “Qualifications for pilots”
Allegan, MI - The National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI) submitted comments on behalf of members in response to the FAA's Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) focused on proposed changes to pilot training and qualifications for pilots to be employed in professional pilot positions.
"The comments included in this document are the culmination of weeks of work by the committee of members who helped with the review of member comments, review of the NPRM itself, and concerns that have been voiced by a wide variety of other industry interests. We are hopeful that the FAA will carefully review these, and other comments by other industry organizations, companies, and individuals, prior to making any final rulemaking that will certainly have a long lasting effect on the aviation industry as a whole," said Executive Director, Jason Blair.
